What is the Intensive?
The Mount Royal University Spring Intensive is an opportunity for a unique professional development experience. This four day intensive offers post secondary educators the opportunity to create strategies, develop ideas and rethink approaches to their own scholarly practice through participation in small group seminars. Together we will examine what we define as scholarly teaching and dig into aspects of our own work as it relates to this practice.

How does it work?
Choose one of the following strands that you wish to explore for the full intensive. Mornings are committed to learning and working together in your chosen strand. Early mornings and afternoons offer optional opportunities to create, learn and play with your colleagues from across the country.

Everyone who is seeking a space to renew and refresh while developing their scholarly practice.
Learning in community is a great way to expand your repertoire. Calgary is a great place to do it. The timing is right to add in a mini getaway to the mountains.
